The Cheese Exhibitors and Committee are pleased to announce that we shall be supporting Dorothy House & Positive Action on Cancer at this years show.
The Frome Cheese Show is well known for it's spectacular display of cheese exhibits, which has grown considerable over the years. Last year was no exception with the largest number of exhibits, sponsors and visitors.
With this in mind we have some exciting developments which will achieve our new target of 1,000 entries, up from 700 last year.
The show starts with the Cheese Trade Day held on Friday 10th September. Thirty Judges will meet from the retail and dairy trade and deliberate the award winners, presenting Gold, Silver & Bronze. This is followed by a Trade Lunch sponsored by Dairy Crest, a talk from our guest speaker, presentation of trophies to the winners and a cheque presentaion to the nominated charities. This event has grown over the years and has proved very popular.
The next day the show is open to the public, the cheese pavilion is transformed to a hive of activity for all the family There is various entertainment such as the Rangemaster Cookery Theatre with Celebrity Chef Martin Blunos, organic cheesemaking demostration, various cheese trade stands, cheese sampling and the Mangled Wurzels.
